The species can be recognized by numerous labels such as crown caps, bluebells, club shirts, olive caps.
Hat: 1.5 – 5.5 cm in diameter, conical to obtuse conical to convex, circumference turned outwards when fresh, rarely flat when old, mostly clearly wavy, translucent striped, delicate and aging greenish-bluish in circumference.
Dark olive brown to cream brown, often metallic bluish, tends to aluminum-brownish in the center when it dries out, hygrophan, evaporates into whole milk lotion, hydrates viscous from gelatinous skin, mostly separable. Flesh lean, bruises quickly bluish.
Gills: Close to the attached to twisted limb, grayish to cinnamon brown with all hints pale all around.
Stem: 5–7 cm long, 2–3 mm thick, equal to half-equal, pale to brown with lotion threads, generally much more yellow towards the tip, initially unusual rhizomorphs, weak, completely with loose fibers, partial veils disappear and quickly become the same , discolour slightly bluish.

Psilocybe baeocystis is known for its distinctive fluted cap, along with the sheer cystitis that spreads to the small intestine, something the fungus looks like new. It is much more common under the aliases of glass hats, gnarled shirts, olive hats or bluebells; practically all references to the different qualities of the cap. The cap turns slightly from a maroon olive oil to a faint metallic blue when touched or perhaps old, along with the wavy waves.
A distant relative oddity about this species is that its effectiveness is more significant when new, usually decreasing to at least half when it dries. This may be due to the exceptionally high levels of biocytin, a psychoactive analogue of psilocybin, which can be broken down with reduced humidity and shorter time. This specific chemical, typical of Psilocybe but generally found in much lower concentrations, is named after the fungus itself that was initially discovered and known in the species.
In addition to the chemical that shares its namesake, P. baeocystis also contains psilocin levels that put it at the top. While the psilocybin amount is close to P. cubensis, moderately to diminished, this particular species also contains a small but highly potent amount of norbaeocystin, a similar alkaloid, in the rest. All in all, when refreshed, this can result in a powerful mushroom: A large serving is 1 3 g, or maybe up to 5 g. Once dry, a sample as small as 1 gram can produce brilliant results.
Due to the overall effectiveness of the species and the special importance of the freshness of the fruit system, P. baeocystis is a rare but valuable alternative for housekeeping. It varies in its own substrate tolerance: humus, mulch, and peat inventory can be perfect options. Although confused with the same species as P. aztecorum, P. quebecensis, or P. cyanescens, they are a standard wild variety, mainly to achieve optimal freshness.
P. baeocystis are not uncommon in their organic range in the Pacific Northwest of North America. More rarely, and more recently, they have been discovered on the east coast in the states of Connecticut and Maine over the United States. In general, they grow naturally within 100 km of the shore, but deviations are not uncommon. Depending on the area, they are not discovered until the end of June, combined with hot autumns or perhaps winters that are found until the end of December.
This species is easy to spot because it can be found in the wild, in lawns, and in poor forest. They are also found around ornamental plants and mainly prefer rhododendrons and rose bushes. For those fortunate enough to usually locate this disorder, it is usually around P. cyanescens, P. stuntzii, and Psilocybe cousins, all of which are now capable of producing hallucinogenic effects at various levels. P. baeocystis can be recognized around the part, with their chance of forming root-like rhizomorphs at the beginning of the stem, along with a sticky and often separable termination that covers the cap known as the cuticle.
